I have been in this field for 20 years.  My goal is to find the best cost-effective solution for your business.  I read a recent article from a company with long experience with reps: to paraphrase, he said, "there are no bad reps, bad reps go quickly out of business."  I have been a rep for over 20 years, more than half of that in the Denver market.

I without reservation believe my products are the best in the industry in performance and service.  I believe all my manufacturers have strong environmental statements and I query them heavily.  Like the Colorado Chapter, US Green Building Chapter that I proudly helped found and sit on the board-- I don't give credit to the expected.  When I first would ask companies about their stand, they'd proudly say, "WE RECYCLE".  I expect more and so do you.

As long as we are consuming every product has an environmental impact. I believe the best thing we can do is for the environment is to use long lasting products.  The 2nd is products with good indoor air quality.  The EPA considers poor indoor air quality the principal health hazard to the US . Since Americans' spend 90% of their time indoors, that number is overwhelming.  Some products as linoleum emit more than 10x the VOC than products listed below.  There are tradeoffs.  Just as there is no one "best" carpet or car -- there is no "best-- one size fits all" flooring product.

Why work with independent reps vs factory reps?

Independent reps have a broader sales multi faceted approach.  Because agents sell several compatible items, they call on a wider variety of prospects and customers.  They should have better market intelligence; since they carry a mix of products we have a diversity of customers and have multi industry experience.

Why work with independent reps vs factory reps?

You can achieve immediate territorial coverage with established relationships.  Because we carry a mix, we can get wind of industry trends long before a single focused factory employee.  An agency must sell to live, we are a vested partner in your success.  When you succeed you succeed.  It is a myth that only smaller start up companies that can't afford employees hire reps.  Companies as Intel, Texas Instruments, Simmons, Hunt Wesson employ reps.  Kraus is one of the top 10 carpet mills in North America and can hire any talent they wish.  My companies are profitable, highly ranked in sales and reputation in their field, and believe in independent reps.
